Cheval Golf & Country Club is located in the city of Lutz a northern suburb of Tampa. Cheval is a private club that is currently allowing limited public play. Cheval Golf and Country Club sits amoung a gorgeous cypress forest, much of which is set aside as conservation areas for wildlife. This lovely setting defines the Club and the golf course, which is considered one of the finest in the Tampa Bay area.
Designed by Steve Smyers, the beautifully mature and meticulously maintained course meanders through Cheval s gated community where cypress trees abound along with native Florida wildlife including deer, alligators, otters, eagles, wading birds and more. Large elevated tees provide for optimum conditions and large landing areas around the well-bunkered elevated hand-mowed greens provide a picturesque setting. |
