Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation is a golfing pleasure nestled among a mature forest of hardwoods only a few minutes from 1-485 in Charlotte North Carolina. This semi-private course opened in May of 1997 and was recognized as the "Best New Course" and "Best Eastside Course" in the Queen City by Charlotte's Best Magazine.
Olde Sycamore was designed by Carolina's noted Hall of Fame architect Tom Jackson. Jackson has built many high-profile courses in the Carolinas, and Olde Sycamore is no exception The routing of Old Sycamore through majestic Carolina tall pines make for a wonderful course setting. Jackson's added touch of using zoysia grass around bunker edges is a great enhancement, adding to the definition of the green complexes. |
