Eagle Ridge Golf Club is a par 71, 6,904-yard track, set in a spectacular, wooded rolling terrain about 15 miles from Raleigh, North Carolina, that has been a challenging and rewarding test for players of all skill levels since it opened in October 2000.
Eagle Ridge Golf Club was designed by 1992 US Open Champion Tom Kite. Kite did much more than just lend his famous name to the project. It is estimated that he made almost two dozen trips to Eagle Ridge during its development. The characteristics of Eagle Ridge's beautiful layout reflect the qualities that made Kite a 19-time PGA TOUR winner – a hard working attitude and the ability to hit wedge shots close.
Gordon White of Pinehurst, a retired sportswriter from The New York Times says, “Tom Kite was always a nice man who made you feel comfortable in his company. This course makes you comfortable as you play it.” |
